With the signing of the 27yr-old Sprunger and the 25yr-old Bykov, Fribourg-Gottéron has made another huge step in keeping its key players together and point out, that they are willing to go for the Swiss Championship in the upcoming years.

The same goal has Julien Sprunger, as he announced on his Facebook-page: "I hope that the upcoming three years bring a lot of emotions and above all a Championship title for Fribourg."

The two home-grown talents have already scored 517 points for Gottéron - Sprunger in 11 seasons a total of 319 points (163 goals, 156 assists) and Bykov in 9 seasons a total of 198 points (49 goals, 149 assists).
