The 29-year-old forward is currently in his second season with HCFG and has had a great year so far, scoring 32 points (14 goals, 18 assists) in 30 games. With that, he has already surpassed his point total from the last regular season (30 points in 40 games).

Pouliot joined HC Fribourg-Gottéron at the beginning of the 2013/14 season and is a former first round draft pick from the Edmonton Oilers. The Canadian has played in 200 NHL games for the Oilers, the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Arizona Coyotes. His contract with the Dragons will run through 2017.

UPDATE According to Franz Stettler (Freiburger Nachrichten), Pouliot has an NHL out-clause, which will be valid until July 2015. The forward had already told La Liberté that he would like another chance to play there. - 12 December 2014, 10:18 PM
