NLA - As HC Fribourg-Gottéron informs, they have signed new contracts with Marc Abplanalp and Nathan Marchon, who will both stay with the Dragons. Additionally, they also have signed defenseman Mathieu Maret.

Defenseman Marc Abplanalp (photo), 30, has signed a new two-year contract with HCFG, which will come to an end after the 2016-17 season. Also youngster Nathan Marchon, 17, will stay in Fribourg. The forward has inked his first pro-contract - a three-year deal - that runs through to the 2017-18 season.

In addition, Fribourg-Gottéron has signed HC Red Ice's defenseman Mathieu Maret to a two-year contract. The 23-year-old is currently playing for Gottéron with a B-license for the rest of the season.
