What has been rumored at the end of May has now been confirmed. SC Bern signs Candian Andrew Ebbett to a two-year contract. He will thus stay in the capital city until the end of the 2016-17 season.


The 32-year-old forward appeared in 243 games (27 goals, 47 assists) in the NHL over the course of his career, playing for the Anaheim Ducks, the Chicago Blackhawks, the Minnesota Wild, the Arizona Coyotes, the Vancouver Canucks and lastly for the Pittsburgh Penguins. He also played in 367 AHL game over the same time period. Last season, he suited up for Pens' AHL affiliate Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins, scoring 18 goals and 33 assist in 52 games. (mso)
