On Saturday, the Journal du Jura reported that EHC Biel is trying to lure the 31-year-old American back to Switzerland. One day later, journalist Vince Criblez wrote that Earl has reportedly already signed a contract with the Seelanders.

Yesterday, however, Farjestäd's team manager Leif Carlsson told the media that Earl belongs to his team and that he did not want to comment on this affair. Now however, this contract is a done deal.
