What Expressen blogger Johan Svensson already suspected, has now been confirmed. HC Fribourg-Gottéron signs Skellefteå's Mattias Ritola to a two-year contract. He will join the team in July.

The 29-year-old forward had to part ways with the SHL team due to medical reasons. He suffering from ear problems, which make it almost impossible for him to fly - something that is a necessity playing for Skellefteå.

The Swede scored 45 points in 49 games for them. His contract will run through 2018. With his signing, the Dragons have now completed their roster for the 2016-17 season. (mso)
