"It's never an easy decision to make but after taking the time to look at my life beyond playing I've decided that after 11 seasons I will end my professional playing career," says Keller in a statement and adds that he is looking forward to the next chapter of his life.

Keller appeared in 334 AHL games, in 132 Liiga games, six NHL games and 213 NLA games throughout his professional career. He won the Calder Cup as captain of the Binghamton Senators, the Ottawa Senators' AHL affiliate, and also won the NLA championship in 2014 with the ZSC Lions. In 49 games for the Lions last season, he scored 18 goals and twelve assists. (mso)
