The 31-year-old forward played in the KHL for the past five seasons. He last suited up for CSKA Moscow, scoring three goals and three assists in 31 games. He is also a constant fixture on the Finnish national team, having won an Olympic bronze medal and the World Championship with Finland.

The Finn has agreed to a one-month contract with the Dragons and will thus stay with the team until mid-October. He will arrive in Fribourg on Wednesday, September 7. (mso)
