Patrik Bärtschi, who is still signed until 2015, has extended his contract prematurely and will now stay with the Lions until 2017. The 29-year-old forward is currently in his fifth season with ZSC and has scored 88 goals and 67 assists in his career with the Lions so far.

Reto Schäppi signed his new contract prematurely as well and will stay with the club at least until 2017. The 22-year-old center is currently in his fourth full season with the National League A club and has scored 51 points in 197 games.

The ZSC Lions also extend the contract of Andri Stoffel until 2015. The 29-year-old defenceman has already played 511 games for the Lions.
