The 21-year-old Schneuwly joined EHC Olten from the SCL Tigers, where he was on loan from EV Zug, at the end of January and has since then scored eight points in eight games for his new team.

The young forward, though alluding to the early playoff out, is happy to stay in Olten: "I had a great time here so far and despite everything, this is a great team with a lot of good guys. We will be able to achieve a lot with this team in the future."

Additionally, EHC Olten extended the contract of the 31-year-old veteran Martin Wüthrich, who has just finished his eleventh season with Olten. During that time period, he has scored 243 points in 561 games for his team and he will hopefully be able to add to that during the course of the next season.
