NLB - EHC Olten's roster for the upcoming season is starting to take shape. They now confirm the signing of three new players as well as the contract extensions for three of their forwards.

Matthias Mischler has signed a two-year contract with Olten. The 25-year-old goaltender spent the majority of this season on loan from SC Bern with HC Ajoie and has played 28 games for the Ajoulots, posting a 2.58 GAA.

Furthermore, Reto Kobach's signing has also been confirmed. He joins Olten from HC Ambrì-Piotta on a two-year contract with the option for an additional year and will thus stay at least until 2017. This season, the defenceman has scored one assist in 51 games.

Moreover, 20-year-old Paolo Morini, who has played for HC Lugano's Elite-A, has agreed to a two-year deal as well. The Italian with a with a Swiss players' license has completed a total of 43 games this season, putting up 44 points (15 goals, 29 assists).

Finally, EHC Olten's forwards Cyrille Scherwey, 25, Remo Hirt, 28 and Diego Schwarzenbach all signed contract extensions. Scherwey and Hirt both will stay until the end of the 2015-16 season, Schwarzenbach, on the other hand, has received a three-year contract and stays until 2018.

Patrick Parati (Hockey Thurgau), Corey Ruhnke, Tim Weber, Adrian Brunner (Hockey Thurgau), Raffael Lüthi and Roman Schild will all leave EHC Olten. As for head coach Heikki Leime, negotiations are still ongoing. Also, Olten is still in talks with several other players. (mso)
