HC La Chaux-de-Fonds confirms that they have signed Laurent Meunier to a two-year contract. He will thus stay with the NLB team until the end of the 2016-17 season.

The 36-year old captain of the French national team already played for HCC back in the 2010-11 season, scoring two goals and nine assists in seven games. However, he spent the last four years in the DEL, playing for the Straubing Tigers. Last season, Meunier put up five goals and 24 assists in 50 games.

As the forward will only receive his Swiss players license next year, he will be HCC's third import player for the upcoming season, as the team already has Canadians Dominic Forget and Benoît Mondou on their roster. Meunier's contract will run through 2017. (mso)
