EHC Visp announces that American forward Jon Rheault and Swiss goaltender Sébastien Pittet will join them as of next season. Both players have agreed to a one-year contract and will thus stay in Visp until 2017.


After having played for the Adler Mannheim in the German DEL for three consecutive seasons, Jon Rheault decided to continue his career with EHC Visp. In his last season with the Adler, the 29-year-old America, who played five NHL games for the Florida Panthers in the 2012-13 season, managed to put up seven goals and twelve assists in 51 games.

Moreover, goaltender Sébastien Pittet joins EHC Visp as their third goaltender for the upcoming season. Last season, the 21-year-old played 12 games with HC Sierre in the first league as well as two games for HC Ajoie in the NLB. (bsc)
