EHC Olten has currently four players signed to a try-out contract. Apart from Massimo Cordiano, Joel Gerber and Loris Weber, EHC Arosa's Marc Sahli has also received the opportunity to prove himself with the NLB team.

Sahli, 19, used to play for Olten's organisation until 2010 and then went through the junior systems of EHC Biel, SC Langenthal, HC Ajoie and HC Fribourg-Gottéron. This past season, he played for NA3HL team Twin City Steel, scoring seven goals and six assists in 29 games.

As the Aargauer Zeitung writes, should Sahli not be able to make the cut, he will return to EHC Arosa. Furthermore, all four try-out players have a contract until the end of September. Head coach Kobi Kölliker says he is happy with his current squad. However, as they do not have much depth in the center/winger position, some last transactions can not be excluded.

In other news, Codey Bürki has still not recovered from the concussion he sustained at the end of last October and is not able to practice. Thus the future of the 28-year-old forward's career is questionable. (mso)
