"With the relevant club I've reconciled an agreement that nobody is going to say anything," Emanuel Peter told the Journal du Jura only five days ago. But somebody apparently did talk. As the Blick reports, the mysterious team with which the 30-year-old has signed is in fact EV Zug.

Still according to Blick, he might replace 32-year-old Fabian Sutter in Zug, whose contract is running out at the end of the season. In Biel, Peter is currently in his ninth and last season. In 466 games with EHC Biel, the 30-year-old was able to score a total of 84 goals and 173 assists.

UPDATE EV Zug confirms the signing of Emanuel Peter to a two-year contract. "He's an experienced center, strong at faceoffs and will take on a rather defensive role with us," EVZ's team manager Reto Kläy says. - 14 October 2014, 5:13 PM
