The 19-year-old forward was drafted by the Panthers in Round 4 of the NHL Entry Draft last year and is currently participating in their Prospect Development Camp. According to the same source, Malgin will likely play for the Panthers' AHL affiliate team in Springfield next season.

Malgin made his debut for the ZSC Lions in the 2014-15 season. Overall, he appeared in 82 NLA games for them, scoring eleven goals and 24 assists. (bsc)
