Medical Reports

The SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers' forward Lars Frei will have to undergo another knee surgery and will miss the 2016-17 season, as the team announced.

Frei had just recently recovered from a similar injury and was able to participate in the Lakers' preparation for the upcoming season. Last week, however, he had another setback and had to get an MRI scan.

Now, the 21-year-old forward will have to undergo yet another knee surgery to fix this problem and will be out for approximately nine months. (bsc)
