Medical Reports

HC Ambrì-Piotta's Janne Pesonen was not able to finish last night's game against Rögle BK and left the encounter after only one period.

However, according to La Regione, this was merely a precautionary measure: The Finn had suffered from problems in the groin area and was thus kept out of the rest of the game in order to be on the save side.

Pesonen is on a seven week contract with the Biancoblù. His signing became necessary due to Adam Hall's lower body injury, which will keep the forward out of the game at least until the end of September. (mso)
