Kloten to start the season without von Gunten and with only three imports

As EHC Kloten has informed, they will have to start the season without Patrick von Gunten. The 31-year-old is sidelined with a yet undisclosed injury.

Moreover, the club from the outskirts of Zurich will start the new season with only three import-players: Tommi Santala, Bobby Sanguinetti, and Drew Shore. They are, however, planning on adding a fourth import if the financial situation permits it. (tme)
