Medical Reports

As the SCL Tigers announce, their defenseman Yannick Blaser has to undergo surgery in the upcoming days and will be out for approximately four months.

The 27-year-old is suffering from a torn muscle in his adductors, which he sustained in the pre-season against EHC Visp on Saturday last week.

Moreover, according to the club, an early return of Jordy Murray is not in sight. The 26-year-old is still dealing with the aftermath of the concussion he sustained in November last year and currently finds himself under medical treatment in the United States.

As for Claudio Moggi, 33, the Tigers' center is recovering from an undisclosed injury and has therefore been announced questionnable for Friday's season opener in Bern. (rlu)
