HC Lugano has to cope without Julien Vauclair for two months

After HC Lugano's Julien Vauclair left last night's game of the Champions Hockey League against the Adler Mannheim injured, the extent of the injury is now clear: The 36-year-old will miss at least two months.

Vauclair suffered not only a bone fissure in his right thigh, but also a muscle tear and an injury to the capsule of the right hip joint.

After being slammed into the inner door of the German bench last night, the Bianconeri's alternate captain had to be carried off the ice on a stretcher. (tme)
