According to 20 Minuten, EHC Biel's Gaëtan Haas has supposedly already found a new home for the 2017-18 season. Apparently, the forward has come to an agreement with HC Davos for the next season.

The 24-year-old center is a product of EHC Biel's organisation and has yet to play for a different team in his career. It is, however, not the first time that the forward has garnered interest from other clubs. Especially after his breakout year in 2015, several clubs were trying to lure him away from the Seelanders.

Upon request from the Südostschweiz, however, both Davos coach Arno Del Curto and Biel coach Kevin Schläpfer deny the rumors about Haas joining HC Davos in 2017. "I don't now anything about it," Del Curto says, while Schläpfer states: "We haven't heard anything. That's also what Gaëtan has confirmed to me."

Haas, whose contract is valid until the end of the 2016-17 season, has appeared in 300 NLA games for Biel, scoring 37 goals and 57 assists. The forward played in his first World Championship for the men's team last season. (mso)
