The best Swiss goal scorer of the NLA is currently in his seventh season with SC Bern - and it won't be his last. Although the 37-year-old thought about playing in Sweden again, he has decided against it, the Berner Zeitung writes. Plüss also won't return to his formative club, the Kloten Flyers.

According to the same source, Plüss' contract extension should be officially communicated as soon as today or tomorrow. SC Bern's team manager Sven Leuenberger, however, won't reveal nothing yet: "We communicate only when everything is signed."

Martin Plüss is having a hell of a season with SC Bern so far. In 25 games, the native of Bülach has scored 14 goals and added eleven assists for 25 points. Over the course of his whole career, he has played a total of 794 games and scored 590 points (255 goals, 335 assists) for KIoten and Bern.
