NLA - As EHC Biel's manager Daniel Villard informs on Twitter, the sports tribunal of the SIHF has rejected HC Ambrì-Piotta's appeal and supports the single judge's decision of not investigating HCAP's protest.

The Biancoblù had filed a protest after the game on November 14 against EHC Biel, claiming a technical error was made by the two head referees Stefan Eichmann and Michael Küng at the end of the first period. Unfortunately, they did not manage to confirm their protest on time, so that single judge Reto Steinmann was not able to investigate the matter.

However, HCAP claimed that there are conflicting rules in the regulation concerning the filing deadline. As a consequence, they brought the case in front of the SIHF sports tribunal, which now has rejected their appeal for good.
