The ZSC Lions seem to have found their fourth import player. According to the Neue Zürcher Zeitung, the Swedish defenseman David Rundblad will return to Zurich and has signed a one-year contract.

In mid-July, swisshockeynews.ch learned that the Lions were indeed interested in a return of the defenseman, whose contract with the Blackhawks was dissolved at the end of July. At that point, however, he also had several offers from Swedish teams.
Last season, Rundblad played 15 games for the ZSC Lions and managed to score two goals and 15 assists. After returning to North America, he appeared in three postseason games for the Blackhawks. (bsc)
