National League A

As HC Fribourg-Gottéron announces, they will have to make do without Roman Cervenka for the duration of the World Cup of Hockey, which will be held from September 17 to October 1.

Cervenka was selected to participate in the tournament, which will take place in Toronto, for the Czech Republic. While the forward will play in the first two Championship games for the Dragons, he will leave Switzerland on September 11 in order to join the national team in Montreal. He will return to HCFG once Czechia is out of the tournament.

Furthermore, the Dragons are currently looking for a temporary replacement for him. His absence combined with the injury of Greg Mauldin has made this a necessity. (mso)
