As Greg Mauldin is injured and Romon Cervenka is set to play at the World Cup of Hockey, HC Fribourg-Gottéron's team manager Christian Dubé is close to signing another import player to replace them.
Photo swisshockeynews.chDubé hopes the new player will already be eligible to play in the first game of the season on Friday, as he tells La Liberté. He adds that are in advanced stages of negotiations. According to the same source, the new forward does not necessarily have to be a center. (bsc)
