While EHC Visp and HC Sierre have been working together on the "Novizen" and "Elite" level for severals years, HC Red Ice joined forces with Sion, Villars and Monthey so far. As of now, there will be a cooperation on the "Elite B" level between all these teams.

The main goals of the cooperation: to pool forces in the youth sector instead of competing against each other, as well as to make it possible to keep their own prospects within the Canton in the future, which however requires the need to be present in the highest youth leagues.

Moreover, according to the clubs' statement, the discussions and cooperation in view of other age groups shall be further extended and intensified. (rlu)
