As Hockey Thurgau announces, they have signed Tim Wieser to a one-year contract. The forward, who got several opportunities this summer to earn a new deal, will thus stay with the Lions until the end of the 2016-17 season.
Photo swisshockeynews.chThe 21-year-old forward had already received tryout opportunities from his former club EHC Kloten and from the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers. Now, he has definitely found a new home for this season. He is eligible to play tomorrow night for their game against EHC Winterthur.
Wieser, who was under contract with Kloten last season, mostly played for EHC Winterthur and HC La Chaux-de-Fonds this past year. In 49 games for both teams, he scored ten goals and twelve assists. (mso)
